The first time we used It’s A Dog’s Life was in October 2007. We left the country for 9 days and had three visits a day for our three dogs and two cats. Once back in the country we received word that one of our pets was in need of care. Kim, owner/pet sitter took our dog to her vet, paid the vet bill and was keeping our dog at her own home to monitor him until we were able to get back. If Kim had not been so aware of our pet’s needs, she would not have seen the distress signs and we may have lost our dog’s eye. In the weeks following, Kim stayed in constant contact to learn of the outcome. This is the only pet sitter in the area I would recommend.

If you want someone who is dependable and will provide the best care for your pets, Kim Kitson is the person to call. During the week, she comes in to visit with and walk our three furry children. I could not trust them to a better person. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.

When it comes to your pets, you want the very best. Which is why I am so thankful I found Kim and It’s A Dog’s Life Pet Services. They have been walking our dogs for years and I can’t begin to express my gratitude for their dependability and tenderness with our dogs. There is such a sense of relief that comes with knowing that our dogs are in good hands while you’re at work! Kim even leaves notes about the events of the day, which is a fun addition. Kim has always been there when needed. When she was my regular petsitter, she was always at the house when she said she would be, left a note to let me know how things went, and was willing to make an extra trip at my request if I had a concern, often with little or no warning. Kim is dedicated to her client’s pet and loves animals. I highly recommend her (and have) to anyone looking for a petsitter.

We have been using Dog’s Life Pet Services for our dog Sierra since she was a puppy. She’s now a 13 yo. They also took care of our 2 kitties, before we lost them. Kim is awesome and takes her time with Sierra and is so kind. She has also checked our mail and watered plants for us when we have been out of town. I will always trust her and Tom to take care of our pets as well as our home when we are out of town.

We have been fortunate to find Kim with It’s A Dog’s Life Pet Services. We have worked with her for many years. She makes it a point to get to know your pet and provides care based on their specific needs. For example, our current rescue pup doesn’t enjoy going for walks, but our other fur kid does. Kim spends time with each, taking the outgoing pup for a quick jaunt while giving the other time in the back yard with lots of
attention. Kim is extremely dependable. She provides a quick note regarding each visit. If there are any significant concerns noted, she contacts me immediately via text, phone or email. Bottom line, I know my furry babies are well cared for with Kim’s service.
